The speaker then crumpled the bill and asked again, "Who still wants it?" Still, hands went up. He then threw the crumpled bill on the ground, stomped on it, and asked one more time, "Who wants it now?" Once again, hands went up.
The speaker explained, "No matter what I did to the money, you still wanted it because its value didn't change. It was still worth $20. Similarly, no matter what happens to you in life, your worth remains the same. Never let anyone diminish your value."
